We know there are lots of courses in the Richmond area where you could hold your next golf outing, but the truth is that holding your event at Providence Golf Club offers your guests one of the most unique golfing adventures they will ever have. Here is just part of what we offer:

A GREAT COURSE: First and foremost, outings at Providence are all about the 18 holes that we offer you. You'll quickly find that most players who have never been here before have yearned for years to play at Providence. Our layout was designed by world renowned architect Lester George, who blended our wetlands, ponds and forest into a spectacular course where golfers of all skill levels can have a good time.

GREAT FOOD AND GREAT FACILITIES: We offer delicious cuisine, a necessity when you're dealing with hungry golfers. How about a hot dog and hamburger cookout or a pork and chicken barbecue with all the fixin's? We also offer a steak dinner if you so choose to indulge. We can provide breakfast, lunch or dinner for your players. We will even develop a customized menu for your group, just say the word. And with our spacious pavilion, we can handle groups as large as 150 people. 

A GREAT LOCATION: We are very easily accessed from I-95, Rt 288, and the Powhite and Chippenham Parkways.  It's convenient to get here, but you'll also find that we're located in a beautiful wooded residential area where you can enjoy a relaxing day on our beautiful course.

GREAT SERVICE FROM EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS: Planning a golf tournament can be a tough job, but at Providence we can make it a fun experience for you as well as your players. We hold dozens of outings each year and we know how to do it right. Every year we also host the Providence Championship, a benefit for Special Olympics. So whether you are designing an outing to express your appreciation to employees, an event to draw new customers to your business, a charity or non-profit event which must draw revenue for a good cause or an intimate round for family and friends, be sure to give us a call.

Best of all, our tournament packages are available at greatly affordable prices ranging from $50 to $75 per player. All groups will receive the following as part of their outing plan:

• Country club-style service -- Our bag drop and complimentary cart handling will make your guests feel right at home.
  
• Help with the paperwork -- Rules sheets, cart signs and tournament scorecards will get your group going quickly and efficiently.
  
• The personal touch -- Our staff will provide pre-tournament rules announcements and on-course assistance.
  
• Help with your promotions -- We will place your sponsorship signs on the golf course for you.
  
• Quick feedback on results -- We can do the scoreboard set-up and post-event scoring.
  
• Refreshments for your guests -- Our beverage cart will visit your guests out on the course.
  
• Great food at the end of the day-- Our grill and catering department can provide personalized banquet service for up to 150 guests.
  
• Prizes, prizes, prizes –- We give you per-player credits that can be used in our pro shop for prizes for your winners.
  
• Practice makes perfect –- We provide your players with unlimited range balls so that they can warm up before they play.

Here are the packages available to you, all of them at very affordable prices for your group:

The Pinehurst– This package includes cart and green fee, $5 golf shop prize fund credit per player, unlimited range balls and Teresa’s country fried chicken and southern-style pork barbecue buffet.

Monday-Friday -- $63

The Oakmont – This package includes cart and green fee, $5 golf shop prize fund credit per player, unlimited range balls and a pure Angus beef hamburger and jumbo all beef hot dog cookout or a southern-style pork barbecue buffet.

Monday-Friday -- $58

Monday-Friday -- $49                                                   

The BethPage - (Golfing on a budget!) enjoy our superb outing service without the food. Cart and green fee, $5 golf shop price fund credit per player, unlimited range balls and of course our friendly staff and excellent golf course.  Minimum 64 players: 1:00 PM Shotgun Only.

Monday - Wednesday only   $46

The Providence -- $58 – This package includes cart and green fee, $5 golf shop prize fund credit per player, unlimited range balls and a continental breakfast and your choice of a jumbo hot dog and pure Angus beef hamburger cookout or a southern-style barbecue buffet.

This package is available on Monday and Tuesday only with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and a minimum of 80 players. An outing with 120 players or more will require a 10 a.m. starting time.

The Captains Choice   $69.00 - Cart & green fee $5 golf shop prize fund credit per player, unlimited range balls, your choice of butlered hors-d'oeuvres, pasta bar, or design your own menu to keep the mates happy.
